Most of this book is very repetitive and drags itself through the plotline like it doesn't have anywhere else to be, and that knocks down the rating. Having Sunbeam and Nightheart in the same clan now kinda takes away the joy of having perspectives in more clans, seeing as it just continues the same scene in a new pov, and sometimes I even get confused as to who is leading. I feel like by now, there should be some kind of connection with Frostpaw, but she continues to stay in her own lane, never interacting with the other mains, which feels dumb seeing as we're halfway now.
Spoilers sections is more positive, but that's because all the actually exciting stuff happened within the last five chapters, which also is bs.
Great starclan, what happened to Frostpaw??? She unearths a murder(that I thought was caused by dogs) through a real vision, and then when she goes to get help she's assassinated?? If she's dead of course, which I really hope not bc i cannot imagine the pain of dealing with only the lovebirds now. And of course Sunbeam is joining Thunderclan! Love is more important than anything we know that (s), and jut in time for old man bramble to FINALLY step down and let my girl squilf take over, if starclan allows it ofc. Pls let Ivypool be deputy it's my dream. And yes, I was kinda shocked Nightheart failed on purpose to return to Thunderclan, but like, actual growth of character? In MY warrior cats? Incredibles Anyway holy shit everything just took a turn and I'm not ready for what's coming next
Tigerstar is unintentionally the funniest character in this whole book, just due to how far up his head is his own ass.
