Writing was not good and the audio narration was worse. Meh
I wasn't sure what to expect, but these characters gripped me from the beginning. A good afternoon read.
I really wanted to like this book; the blurb I read before starting was interesting. However, once I got into the book I didn't think it was well written. The characters lacked depth. The sex scenes were divorced from the rest of the plot and lacked context. This was a good idea for a book that was not well executed.
I like the world building and the fact there is a story on the side. The romance was good too. In all it was a decent shifter story with a Jason Borne essence to it.
