Picked this up randomly and didn't realize it was the first one. Unlike many books, it's not obviously an introductory book, nor is it completely obvious who the police are hunting; you're kept wondering if there is one person or more, if there's a double- or triple-bluff. It's also nice to see a somewhat more realistic relationship rather than the idealistic ones too often portrayed.
All in all, an enjoyable read. I had the misfortune of starting it one evening and read too late as a result!

One of the best first in a series novels I have ever read. Another one that took me too long to find. O’Dell is an incredible character. Can’t wait to see where Kava takes her next.
