Absolutely enjoyed this manga! It had a mixture of gore, darkness, humor and violence. Q Hayashida blended it all perfectly! I’m excited to read and collect the rest of this series.

If Yuji and Mahito had a lovechild, it would be Za- sorry, I mean, it would be Meatball Spaghetti.

If you're looking for a quick summary: gory, comedy, horror, sci-fi, slice of life.
The imagery is fantastically horrific, while the content leans more everyday comedy. I love the contrast, and the main characters are endearing simple in their motivations for life.
This first volume really only gives a surface level of what we might see in this series. There is a lot of depth that is barely hinted at. I am excited to check out the next couple of volumes.

Q Hayashida has done it again! I live exploring her worlds and her art style is freaky and breathtaking! I do wish we had more explanation as to how the magic/science behind the story is, but I’m sure that’ll come into play later. And besides, I love that weird feeling my brain gets when venturing into Hayashida’s stories.
And a sexy woman of death? Count me in!

Astoundingly imaginative and original. The world and characters are grotesquely whimsical and catchy, they bounce right off the page from the very beginning. It’s weird and surreal, it’s funny and super gross. I highly recommend it to fans of the video game Hylics- there’s a similar absurdist nonsensical world here to the one in those games.
