oops forgot to update goodreads the other day when i finished THE SERIES!!

altogether, the end of it all has it’s ups and downs. this book is definitely an ending the series needed, while i also wish that some of the legwork hadn’t been left to the final moments.

my feelings towards certain components remain unchanged: hermione is the true hero, neville is the awe-inspiring side character, and trelawny is a v powerful witch. however, this also means that some characters (ron) fall flat and unidimensionally unlikable.

all in all i love this series even as an adult with a full read-through finally accomplished. its so painful that the author has such a narrow view of real-world lives when she was able to speak to injustice and societal pains in her fantasy land. all in all, let the memory of this series live untainted from TERF ideologies

The worst of the Harry Potter series but still a classic.

All was well.

I’m not going to write a lot about this book - just to say that I loved it, and although I found the epilogue to be very twee, I think that it was appropriate for what is after all a children’s book.

I’ve enjoyed every minute of HP and I feel kind of sad that it’s all over now!

Simplemente. Hasta ahora mi saga favorita

Epic!!! Such a good end to the series, the ending was so heartwarming

The last instalment...I thought it went pretty well. I feel like the relationships played out much better then little teenagers in this story. Along with also using specific items to make sure that when they did get super annoying or annoyed at each other there was actually magical items doing it or actual real stress that caused the fighting.

I liked the waiting, waiting for everything to happen and figure it out. It was not just magically solved instantly and they also took the time to think out what they needed to do, rather then the characters just stumbling upon answers.

I loved that they dealt so strongly with death and the fact that you can move on from it. Defintly books like "Everything I learned in life I learned from Harry Potter" can come into play a lot in the last two books. Well Done.
