Great!

Excellent but make sure you have tissues! Now, I NEED to order the next book! I can't wait to see what happens to Emma.

I forgot how much this story touched me. Even after my second time through, I still find it a five star read. The story flows so well that I can picture it so clearly while reading. Almost like a movie playing. Emma has to deal with some very horrible situations. The problems are compounded by the fact that she has lost her own family. Her best friend Sara is her beacon of light in this story, as well as the handsome new boy Evan. The story ends on a cliffhanger and the subject matter can be hard to read. Still one of my favorite stories.

WHAT WAS THAT ENDING???

WHERE WAS THE HANKY PANKY??

DISAPPOINTED

UGHHHHHHHHH

Really good book!!! I will admit I did cry (allot) at the end. Its amazing.

I loved that Emma had so much growth and realization throughout the book. I also loved that when she met Evan she realized that the world had so much happiness that she was allowed to experience.

“Now I was left holding the pieces of my heart, crushed by my own hands.”

I loved loved loved this book! It was SOOOOO amazing and heartbreaking. I loved Sarah and Vivian and Evan. The only thing I didn't like was Sara and Evan's reluctance to tell someone Emma was being abused. I can see how Emma didn't want to tell anybody but it bothered me that Sara and Evan never did, especially since Sara's dad is a judge. I wasn't sure what to think about the ending and was rather distressed about it until I found out there's going to be a sequel. I cant wait to find out the title and publication date!

This book broke my heart, but also taught me how love can make people want to live for a better future. I love the chemistry between Emma and Evan. I hate Carol, she is a heartless character, and I hope Emma can finally live her life. I love the friendship between Emma and Sara. I think this is one of those powerful series that make people understand that there needs to be more love in this world than hate. Because when you love people, there is fulfillment and purpose. That's why this is one of the awe-inspiring books series to read.
