A short book, but a classic. It has all the 60-ish good vibes of a wrinkle in time. It's basically a juvenile version of "Stranger in a Strange Land" which isn't as odd as it sounds if you're a fan of Heinlein's juvenile fiction.

I only wish I had read it in 4th grade.

This was a cute little read. I think I would have liked it a lot as a kid. It was quite charming as an adult, and I'm pretty impressed with the ending--I think it would have been hard for me to leave it that vague, but it worked really well. Lovely little book that I'd be happy to have my kids read.
