So Worth The Journey!
My fav story out of the series.
Personal romantic preference, I’ve liked other characters better.
But this story just rocks!
The leading lady is awesome! Maybe too much of a superhero at times, but who cares, she’s kick-ass!
The guy has moments of being an alphahole, but she never lets him get away with it

I can’t say I loved this book, but at least some of that is on me. I didn’t realize this was the final book in a new-to-me series when I picked it up. There were clearly continuing plot lines from earlier stories that I knew nothing about, and there were a lot of terms specific to the alien world that I had to try to figure out from context. I didn’t really understand what the bad guy aliens looked like or why they were doing what they were doing, but I’m sure that would have made sense if I had started at the beginning. That said, the characterization of the main characters was pretty superficial. On the other hand, the pace of the story never faltered and I felt the urgency in the two characters finishing their quest. Don’t start here, but if the series intrigues you try picking up book 1 instead.

If... if... this is the end of the series... I feel a little let-down. I would like more of a glimpse of how all of their lives played out... especially Dragix and Charlie... I like dragons... who knew!!

I can’t believe this series is finished now!! I want to know what happens in the future, I want to see all of the ladies have babies, (and see who has how many!!) and to see them all grow up too, so in that respect I’m sad but silver linings! So silver linings - excellent book to end the series on, ermahgerd Sarissa and Korzyn *chefs kiss* fecking perfection!! Throughout the whole series I’ve really loved the little adorable endearments each of the males gives their mates (and occasional visa versa), this one is no different with Korzyn’s “hellion” argh these two are just too freaking adorable!!
I love how capable they both were (especially Sarissa, I freaking loved how she just saved her commander left right and centre!! Go woman go!!) and how much although they initially “hated” each other they both seemed to still respect and admire the other’s skills. They are both fierce and loyal, and their HEA was glorious *clappy hands and heart eyes!*
Beautiful way to round out the series, nice little epilogue at the end and the letters was eloquent and full of love and their scenes so beautiful!! Colour me happy with this series for sure!! Thank you Hope Hart for a series that I could not put down and had HEAs and relationships to fulfill my prerequisites (that sometimes I don’t think I fully know until something doesn’t fit them!). Thank you again!!
