The men of Rebel Ink get more delicious with each book. Dawson and Piper sizzle and steam up the pages of Play You and I was hooked from page one!

Dawson is a dreamy single dad, the ultimate DILF. He's rough when you want him to be and a big ol' softy at the exact right moments. Dawson is absolutely perfect. His daughter, Emmie is full of fire and sarcasm, but is actually a very good daughter - especially for a teenage girl. The relationship he has with her really melted my heart and I'm excited to see what happens in her life going forward.

It was because of Emmie that Dawson ran into his old teenage love, Piper. A girl, now woman, he thought was long dead. He witnessed the house she lived in burn to the ground and it's not like Piper was seen or heard from for seventeen years, until Dawson goes to enroll his daughter, Emmie, into a prestigious school. Piper works at the school and she instantly knows her time of running and hiding has run out.

This story revolves around hurt and betrayal, but it also is about two people who discover that a love like theirs is rare and might deserve a second chance, if only Dawson wasn't linked to his family which is still looking to finish what they started seventeen years ago.

Can they survive a second time around or will her betrayal finally catch up to her?

This comes a close second out of my favourites in this series. I love the premise. I love the story. Easy to read and very enjoyable.

Their story begins like a modern day Romeo and Juliet with plenty of twists. Instead of suicide, homicide and betrayal lead to the demise of their young relationship. Fast forward seventeen years, when Dawson "D" stumbles upon his previously thought dead ex. The connection between them is as strong as ever and, even though she should probably run, Piper can't bring herself to even try to hide from the hurt that she's anticipating.

It's gripping and dark! There were also some incredibly sweet and tender moments that made my heart soar, along with plenty of naughtiness that had my toes curling.

As expected, there were check-ins with the other Rebel Ink inhabitants and their loved ones.

Wow.
I can't believe that was the last Rebel Ink book. It's bittersweet, really.

These guys and their boss chicks have found a way into my heart and I'm sad to let them go. Knowing that Emmie has a book coming lifts my spirits a bit.

When I first read the blurb for this book I knew it was one that would hook me straight away - and I wasn't wrong.
Dawson and Piper were an amazing read.

From revenge, to real, to the end.... it was worth the late night (and resulting little sleep I got).
Their story was painful, realistic, scary, romantic, steamy and just... SO. GOOD!

I hope we get to see some more of this group somewhere along the way.

Star crossed lovers, child with another woman so quick after a break up, brought back together in the most unexpected ways............ this book is filled with so many of my reading interests it was a no brainer to dive into.

This is Lorraine at her best! The drive of revenge woth the vulnerability if loving the one who got away kept me on my toes through the whole book! While I love the rebel ink guys, but Dawson has secretly been my fave. I'm glad Tracy made sure his heroine was worthy of him.
