Reread complete. I believe that all things CoHo should be read over and over again. At least once a year.
I love Will Cooper. Love him so damn hard! He's Butterflying Amazing!

Another enjoyable, thought-provoking, cutesy-romantic book from Colleen Hoover :)
I really liked and enjoyed the poetry aspect of the story. And the book itself seemed pretty eventful which usually earns good points from me.
It's interesting how my perspective of Will somewhat changed after discovering he was a teacher. Don't get me wrong, I still love him and I know he's technically all of these things, they're all different sides of him; but in my eyes I was looking at him at first as this young, playful man almost boyish. And then he became this serious, slightly older adult. It's all just what my perspectives were while reading. It's interestingly realistic in the sense that humans are different with specific people or in specific environments and this part of the book kind of shows readers firsthand what it's like.
I don't know if I explained that correctly, I hope you get my point haha.
I always love Colleen Hoover's way of writing and how she tends to stick to an emotional style. I also love how she often incorporates relatable life lessons in her stories.
"Find a balance between head and heart."

I love Colleen Hoover. Every time she releases a book, I will read it. This book, however, taught me that while I will strive to read all of Colleen Hoover’s books, I will not always like them.
After the sudden death of her father, Layken, her mother, and her younger brother are forced to pack up their things and make the trek from Texas to Michigan, where Layken’s mother’s new job awaits.
Shortly after moving, Layken meets Will Cooper, and the two form almost an immediate connection. Despite the certainty of their feelings for one another, however, Layken and Will are met with a period of seemingly endless uncertainty.
When they feel like they have nothing, Layken and Will realize, they have each other -- and slam poetry.
I began reading this book excited to dive into another one of Hoover’s literary worlds filled with morally gray men, strong female protagonists, and general themes that stick with me for months. I finished the book feeling a bit disappointed.

I actually read this in October and am just now getting around to writing a review. This book is what actually started my love affair with all thing Colleen Hoover. She is an amazing writer and I have devoured everything she has written. As for this book, it had me hooked as soon as I started it. I will admit the idea of poetry really is what kept me putting this book off time and time again. When I finally did pick it up, to say I was pleasantly surprised was an understatement. The poetry is amazing and really adds a depth to the book. I loved Will (and continued to love him in the second book). I would say to anyone that is not sure about this book to give it a try---you will love it. It definitely made me cry BUT it was also an instant addition to my favorites shelf.
Not my favorite Colleen Hoover book, but still super cute
I can't believe I actually enjoyed a Colleen Hoover book. The exact proof to never judge a book by its cover. Don't get me wrong I rolled my eyes A LOT because the cheese was THICK. But I loved the poems and the message of the story.

Oh wow - sat down to read this at dinner, finished it before midnight. Could. Not. Put. It. Down. Another great Colleen Hoover read. Loved the characters and how they worked through real, believable problems. I will say, I thought the initial romance was a little unrealistically fast, BUT I think it's also because both parties needed someone and had so much in common, so I can overlook that a bit. You can't control who/when/how fast you fall in love!
Damn, didn't know this was a trilogy... ugh. Better go buy the other 2. Today.
