I am now halfway through this series, and I already don't know what I'm going to do with myself when I finish it. So far, I love everything about these books and the world they're set in.

I love that Cimorene and Mendenbar didn't fall into the usual trope of hating one another when they first meet, only to fall in love later (that is so cringy and overdone). They get along almost right from the get-go and work together to do what's right. Everyone knows they're going to end up together, so it was nice to see them have a healthy respect for one another throughout the entire story/adventure.

I'm already 22% into Book 3, and I'm already loving it. I highly recommend this series to kids of all ages or to adults who are looking for an Enchanted Forest to escape to for a little while. When I'm there, I don't ever want to leave.

Cute.
But marred by one character who may have been mildly annoying in print made EXTREMELY annoying by the voice actor. I wanted to punch my dashboard. No one should take three seconds to pronounce a single letter.
