Another great book about Kvothe that I was sad to see come to an end. This is officially the longest audiobook that I have ever absorbed at 43 hours and 59 minutes, but I did not want it to end. The narrator was spectacular and brought to life the different languages and characters in the novel in a way that makes me think I could not have enjoyed this book without the recorded version. I loved this book because of the epic fantasy and language and magic involved within. I hope like crazy that Patrick Rothfuss finishes this series in the near future so I can see what happens to our adventurer, Kvothe the bloodless!

A wonderful sequel to The Name of the Wind. I've heard a lot of disappointment from others regarding this book, but I think some readers may have lost sight of Rothfuss' real purpose in this series; to show that even the heroes in folk tales are simply people, and those people don't always get a happy ending.
