The book sat in my TBR for months before I finally picked it up, and EEK, I’m so glad I did. While the cover initially deterred me, the story kept my attention throughout. Fantastic characters and A.G. Wilde set up a world and story I’m excited to continue… right now.

Xul and Athena

A really good start to a series! I really enjoyed Athena as a character, so strong and brave. Xul is a great character, as well. They make a great couple. There’s a lot of action and it’s a good build up to the start of their actual relationship. Can’t wait to explore the rest of the books in the series!

overall good. i like the world-building building it gives a good picture but is not too wordy. i like that it isn't insta love and they have a nice love story. excited for the next book 3/5 spice

Trigger warning

Some scenes are hot and steamy but very graphic, some aware of that when reading this romance. I recommend this steamy read.
