I became emotionally invested in the characters almost immediately. The plot flew by. I would've preferred a different ending but I still give it two thumbs up.

A solid 4.5/5 stars. I read this book some years agi and enjoyed it, but re-reading it today and writting an essay on it is only making me realise so many new things that I did not see the first time I read it, which made the experience so much better. I cannot wait to read Ender’s Shadow!

I don’t know if it is the fact that it is considered a classic, I have exciting books to read after this, or the fact that my copy of the book is very small and worn but I could not get past the first page.
