I enjoyed the art, the details of the jewellery and the clothes and the palaces were all great in enhancing the reading experience. My issue was that the faces of the many characters were not very distinct, and I would be hard-pressed to know the names of the characters other than the main leads. The mystery element is fun, but the mysteries also seem to be sorted out lightning quick, so there's no time for the mood to marinate. I'll continue the series for a volume of two more before making my mind up about reading the whole thing.
