I adore the writing in this book, everything from the graphic murder to the description of food to every sensual detail of Dorothy’s sex life.
My one complaint about this book though is that I simply don’t believe a calculated murderer like Dorothy would make the mistake she did with the receipt. Not after how many pages and paragraphs went to detailing the intricacies of her other murders. A paper trail isn’t something she would forget to get rid of. It feels like a bit of a cheap reason for her to get caught by (and I can think of plenty other thing that would actually make sense for her to forget.) otherwise truly this book is amazing, I loved it.
