This was one that I've had on my shelves for several years because I didn't have an audiobook and its difficult for me to get attached quickly when I'm physically reading. But this sucked me in right away and even better, I didn't want to put it down. It gave me chills, made me cry, and the ending with the kids came for my heart all over again. Easily the top contender for the month and probably will be among my best of the best of the year

I think I kept my breath in during the whole book.
I was so so stressed and anxious for the ending to see who survived or not.
This book is really good but it's also bittersweet because that's the reality of what a lot of kids go through in school shootings in America and across the world.
It's sad to think that this isn't fiction but the reality.
The author really managed to captivate me and wrote in such a way that I was always wanting more.
Definitely worth reading!

What an incredible book. The story of a school held under siege for 3 hours. As the drama unfolds, each character rotates into the story as the tension builds to a crescendo. The word gripping barely does Three Hours justice. It’s a solid 4.5* and a must read.
Thanks to Penguin Books UK and Netgalley for the ARC of this superb book.
