Just couldn't keep going. Lost interest.
Honestly, no notes. A five star read for me - I love heavy world building so I absolutely loved how well SJM put this world together. The last 250 pages DESTROYED me. And I'll gladly get destroyed again if SJM feels like it.
I tried to read this a year or so ago and couldn’t get past the first chapter. But, I am so glad I picked it back up again. the first half of the book is a lot of world building but it is SO worth it. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire rest of the book! Was the writing phenomenal? No. Were there plot holes? Yes. BUT I can’t wait to read the next one!!
