alright raven. u got me. i like this one. im not sure if the writing style is better in this book or if im just used to it now but the last half especially i flew through. i dont like men but i would for slade tbh. also what is with aurens determination to never say the word man??????? why does she say male every time????? it sounds so weird and always took me out of the story bc the sentence flow would stop. also can we as a society collectively come up with a new word thats not pussy or cunt because im so tired of het smut scenes.

Physical - love this twist to the story. Such wonderful female empowerment.
Can’t believe Midas was the even skin trader, and that he cut her ribbons off. Love that Slade made such a public display of his love for her. Also love that she didn’t let the men fight for her.  Hopefully Auren doesn’t hate or fear Spade for his action to stop her power from draining her completely.
The continued character development and growth is amazing at even this late stage in the series. Lots of twists and turns throughout. Another horrid cliff hanger ending.

I absolutely adore this series. The main characters development is by far my favorite character development I’ve read thus far in my life. Watching Auden grow, learn about herself, discover herself, and find her worth was truly beautiful to read. I simply don’t know how I’m supposed to wait 7 months for the next book.
