I read this after hearing Dave Eggers speak. It is an amazing story of the one of the Lost Boys of Sudan. It left me wanting to know more about how his life turns out!

I enjoy books that challenge me to see the world differently. This book did that. I highly recommend this book.

An outstanding book by an author I wasn't overly impressed with due to his manic writing style. Eventhough it's fiction if what is told is 1/10th of the atrocities that were happening it's heartbreaking. An absolute must-read!

Really cool story. I didn't know this was a true story until I picked it up off my shelf! It did drag on for quite a while so I give it three stars.

Content is heavy, with some innocent musings and African history sprinkled throughout. If you don't like details, then this book isn't for you. If you want to go on a journey, then be in it for the long haul. But be prepared for your heart and faith to break over and over under the weight of a never-ending string of cruelties.
