After reading most of the witches novels, I think the main issue, most of the time, is the build up. It takes a while for anything to start happening, and once it does I run out of pages. However, this one does a better job pacing its story, and staging events in a way that flows fantastically.

I'll bump this to a 5 if there's a scene between Greebo in human form and Death in the last installment. Otherwise, a 4 it shall remain.

Some good stuff here, but overall one of the weaker entries into the Witch series. Way too many fat jokes. Good characterization, though.

Not my favourite in the witches series, but Pratchett never disappoints. Always a gem!
