Death is one of the 7 Endless siblings from Gaiman's Sandman series and he's written a few spin-off comics with her as the main character.

I really enjoyed this book, just not as much as the original series.

Þegar ég var að lesa Sandman á sínum tíma var mér sagt að Death sögurnar væru ekkert spes þannig að ég las þær ekki. Núna kíkti ég á þær og þótti þær frábærar.

On the day Sexton decides to end his life he meets a strange young woman at the garbage dump. They undertake a journey together where they both discover things about themselves.

Okay I am a huge Neil Gaiman fan and I have wanting to get my hands on this graphic novel for sometime. Anticipation was high and disappointment was very, very low.

The drawing is wonderful, the characters and their nuances are realised with great skill. Didi is particularly well done. The illustrators really gave her personality and presence on the page. I mean she really does come across as bubbly and full of life. Sexton is all brooding and works well. The backgrounds are also beautifully drawn and I spent a great deal of time studying each panel.

The story line is intriguing and reveals itself to an intriguing conclusion.
I will have to find the rest of the books in this series.

A fitting story about Death spending a day mortal. Mysterious and entertaining. It's always a good time when Dead of the endless is around. She's just that good a character.

It's funny, I remember having the 6 page Death talks about STDs comic back in the day that appears at the end of this book. It really shows how it's a product of its time by having her explain Aids and STDs to readers. Since this comic was released in the early 90s, the Aids epidemic was very much still in the minds of people. It's just amusing to see it again.

This is a companion to Neil Gaiman's Sandman series featuring Dream's sister, Death.

Every 100 years, Death takes on human form to experience what life is like. This time, Death runs into characters from other Sandman books.

Lovely three-part story following the adventures of Death when she comes to town. Some of my favourite images of Death in this one. Will require further pondering.

enjoyable tale. Every century Death must become mortal to understand what life means, as Death, not the goddess, but death itself. We first met Death in the early volumes of Sandman, and she easily became one of my favorite characters. She's spunky and vital, and vibrant. She's funny and kind. She's everything you don't think Death will be, and is at the same time everything you think she is. It's complicated, but a beautiful kind of complicated. This tale is short, but long for a comic. We never really find out the plot of the "bad guy" but maybe I'm just missing something, as a lot of the characters are cameos or recurring from other DC universe and Sandman series. The real tale isn't finding Hattie's heart or saving the ankh, it is about making sure life is worth living, by enjoying every moment.Food, hot dogs, lox and bagels,(something I have yet to try) marbles and music, coke and ginger ale, walks in the park and listening to fountains, tea and sympathy with strangers. "You got what everyone got, you got a life time"My favorite line by Death.
