This book has been fantastic from start to end.

Finally, the plot is thickening. Everything that's happening in Olympus gets worse and worse. We find out who has been helping Minos. I got so close with my guess. I can't wait for the next installement to see what happens next. And especially to see what's been going on in Hermes's head.

I had no idea it was going to happen, but I enjoyed this trio so much more than Achilles, Patroclus and Helen. I hated Orpheys so much, but the way he groveled back to Eurydice and the love blossoming among the three of them was beautiful. And the steam is so steamy you'll need a hot shower afterwards.

Thank you Sourcebooks and Netgalley for providing me with an arc of this book!

And this marks the end of my Dark Olympus journey (at least for now because there aren't any more books currently out). I'm sad because I have had so much fun listening to all of these books. Even if all of them aren't the best, they are all a lot of fun to read and the spice is fantastic.

Midnight Ruin started out really strong but started fizzling out after the 50% mark. I think I would have liked it a lot more if it had focused more on Charon and Eurydice's relationship before introducing Orpheus into the dynamic.

Other than the beginning scenes in Hades' club, nothing from this book stands out or is particularly memorable.

Despite that, I can't wait for the next book!

Love anything related to Dark Olympus, and loved this book. I have recently read The Beast by Katee Robert, and this book gave same vibes. Nothing has been as great as Neon Gods, but that is just personal opinion. I love Hades and Persephone and I was happy to see a little more of them in this book. I think my fav was Charon, but Orpheus had his moments. Spicy, three person POV, friends to lovers, puppy play, groveling, second chance romance.
