I liked the characters and the story. There were a few editorial errors, but overall, it was a good story, worth the time spent reading. Will read the rest of the series!

Love me a why-choose cyborg romance. The story setup and character history was quick and easy, and the FMC was decent.

The explanations we got at the end of the brothers’ history would have been better served if it had been explained in the beginning or middle, rather than rushed out at the end.

It is slow burn, but well worth it in the end so I got everything I wanted: a spicy cyborg why-choose.

I really didn’t like this? Looking up the authors books I just realised I didn’t like the other book I tried either so clearly this author just isn’t for me. I distinctly remember not really liking the writing of the other book I read too, which sucks because just like the first book and this book, I really liked the concept but I just think the writing isn’t for me. Guess I might have to remove other books on my tbr, I don’t really want to be disappointed again.

Three cyborgs, 1 human female ✨

Megan was abducted from Earth and then abused by her alien captors. After a week of torture, she just barely escapes and ends up in the hands of three men. Supersoldiers Axel, Steel, and Gage take her in immediately. They know she’s the one meant just for them.

A sweet and spicy why choose romance. Very quick ending unfortunately..

Trigger warnings for rape and sexual abuse.

It was fine. The spice scenes were good and the FMC was easy to root for. And the cyborgs were hot. I liked that they were white, black and brown. Not just all white guys.

Wasn’t amazing but wasn’t terrible either. It was the sort of simple sci-fi I wanted to read at the time.

Megan, Axel, Gage, Steel and Trish were subjected to horrible treatment at the hands of the Hurlians. Megan and her men were able to slowly heal and find love together and she gained a best friend in Trish. I thought it was great that Megan was able to acclimate so easily into her new job.

What a wonderful new world! I love the characters and the setting as well as how the author has set up this series. Off to read the next one!
