Not bad and I can see why so many people like it. It's well written especially for a PNR. Unfortunately My biggest issue was I didn't like Cat and Bones was too alpha male. Also the first half was too slow for my taste.
Bones was too jealous and possessive for a vampire who I feel should've out grown those feelings after 200 years. But he did remind me of Spike from Buffy and had his humorous/fun moments. Most of those in dialogue with Cat.
Which is the only time I liked Cat. The rest of the time she's either slut shaming (because liking blowjobs or public sex obviously means you're a slut, not just a person who enjoys sex) or saying things like "he's not attracted to me?? Then he must be gay!" Ah yes because there's no in between. If you're not attracted to every single female you meet then you must be gay. She's also prone to jealousy of course because she's part vampire but i feel it's a bit too soon in the relationship to be that possessive.
Anyway, Cat is the reason for only 2 stars. A well written character but not one I care for.
