The book was the conclusion to the Love Languages series! Each book is fantastic, of course, but I'm very partial to 3 and 4. I don't want to go into too much detail since I was just speaking to someone who hasn't read this one yet (hello!), but this story further develops the characters in the 2nd and 3rd books and their relationship, with a distinct focus on sweet Zhong. It deals with his journey and insecurities in his asexuality and his Chinese American family. We do get to see Marco and Greg as well, though! And of course, a whole lot of Ash, Landon, Lena, and Dustin.

These books can not be read as standalones, and books 2 and 4 in particular are on the longer side. But if you're interested in a series with all kinds of rep, kinks, and character growth, you know where to look!

I've read this trilogy (I know there's a first book, but these four MCs are only the last three in the series) straight through. I couldn't put it down. One of the best kink books/series I've ever read. I've also never seen a 4 person poly so well explained. I am in love with each MC and my heart spent the entirety of this book squeeeeeeeing.
I cannot explain how much I've learned, and I'm forever grateful for authors who write non mainstream MCs.

I was in love with this book almost the entire way through. (more on that later) I could feel the love and emotions in this book. The connections were beautiful to read, they were described amazingly, you could feel the passion. I love these characters and how they each held their own identities even through their kink expression. Sometimes it seems that a little is only talked about as a little in books. Ash was a well rounded adult as well. Zhong & Dustin's relationship was comfort and bliss. Landon/Lena had so much growth during this book. I'm glad it was a bit longer than poly books normally are. Everyone got good page time. My only disappointment was how it ended. Don't worry it was a HFN. But I wish it had ended on a more connected scene of the 4 of them together. If felt disconnected and I was left wanting some warm fuzzies of an ending of all four of them being domestic together.

Not a lot happens in this. It's a slow burn between the two main couples, and that's really all the book is about.

Intertwining love

The intertwining love, friendship and family between the 2 couples, 4 individuals, as they navigate becoming a foursome is beautifully written.

This is a wonderfully fitting end to this series!

This book was the perfect ending to this series.

Gosh I love this book so so much. This book rounded up all the loose ends after book three and brought it together in one well rounded story.

One thing I loved so much in this book was how Zhong's asexuality was treated. Well to be honest the first book did it so so great too, but the angle was very different now that Ash was getting sexually intimate with Lena and Dustin. It warmed my heart so much how they made him totally a part of what the other three were doing, while totally staying within his boundaries. The communication was amazing again and just so damn healthy it made me smile.

It was so great as well how they expanded on the puppy play even more and had scenes together with Dustin and Lena too. All three of them together enjoying days in the garden was just absolutely perfect.

I loved it as well how the book focused on getting all links between them strong and healthy. Having them create moments with Zhong and Lena for example so they could enjoy their own quality time too. This made the book still very fresh even though we already had two books before with their love stories. It gave a whole new layer of fun to the books and I greatly enjoyed those chapters.

And then that last chapter of them together, I won't say too much to keep spoilers away. But do know I bawled so so hard with that lovely ending. I am reviewing this book about two months later as I'm a bit behind but this book is still very active in  my mind and I keep rereading bits when I feel like coming back to this lovely quad.

Also, jeg elsker at Marco titter ind!
