I found this book on Libby's "Everyone Reads" program. It was a beautiful and thoughtful book on trauma and the power to survive and forgive in order to move on with one's life.

This story is well written especially when the plot is heartbreaking one. I was hesitant to read this because of the subject matter, however, I'm glad I did. This is a beautiful story about forgiveness, love, death, facing fears, grief, and what being a survivor really means.
