I loved how this book was set in a broadway world in New York! I think this was my first "marriage of convenience" in a modern setting. At first, I thought it was kind of cute, but then I kind of got the ick from Holland that she basically manifested her crush to be her fake husband & not telling him the origin of them getting together. I could imagine Gerard Butler as the male lead. Or if someone younger...Paul Mescal! This isn't my favorite Christina Lauren book but I did have fun reading this book! This book did make me miss New York.

4 stars!

Bravo! I just loved this book. Everything about it was wonderful. The characters, the love story, the ending, all of it. I especially loved it being set in a theater in New York. I love the theater and am so interested in reading more about the behind the scenes and what it’s like to actually be a part of that world.

Christina Lauren are fast becoming one of my very favorite authors. Not a single book of theirs have i disliked so far. Off to read the rest of their books!

Surprised how the author was able to make this premise so believable and included issues and uncertainties that helped strength it.
