This might be my favourite found family I’ve read.

It was such a weird, strange group and they were all so different and bizarre in their own ways. I really loved how much each person stood out next to the others. Favourite character: demon chicken and Finder. Least favourite: puppet woman: genuinely that’ll give me nightmares. 

It was also so refreshing to read a standalone fantasy that did have high steaks but didn’t act like it. It was whimsical and funny and overall a great time.

I’ve marked it down purely because I don’t think it’ll stand out for me but it’ll definitely be a book I could come back to time and time again. I’d also definitely read more from this author!
