This was a mind-bending clusterfuck in a good way, but was initially so confusing I almost stopped reading. I didn't love it, but it was fun. Fitzek is always a good read. Also, a headline in this story clearly refers to another one of his novels, so I love the idea that he's working within the same universe in at least some of his writing.

The ending really let this book down for me.

I actually liked this book a lot. It was a fairly fast and intense read and I did not expect that plot twist in the end. It's probably one of my favourite books by Fitzek I've read so far. I also liked the characters a lot and I felt so bad for the main character by the end of the book. I also love the theme he chose to go with - organ black market is not something I would normally choose to read about. The only thing that really bothered me was that everybody suddenly started calling main character Luke - even though his last name is Lucas and his first name is Marc- and even characters with the same last name called him that - I am not sure if that was a translation error or not but it got really annoying throughout the second half of the book.
