This was a funny, absurd queer space romance. Two humans make a connection as they head back to earth - hoping to revive the destroyed planet. But the humans who never left are fearful of spacers and shoot them down. Desperate to find her scientist love, the former solider will do anything to track her down. This was charming, endearing, and a quick read.

A bit difficult to get into (for me), a couple of confusing typos but once I was into it it was completely compelling and ended beautifully hopeful.
