There's something so soothing about this series! I loved seeing Kanda rely more on his peers and his friends, throughout this volume. Even had a long-held misunderstanding cleared up, which was very satisfying to read as well. Greif and loss are such tricky subjects to handle well, but I think this series does a good job of showing Kanda taking those steps toward processing and healing. It also illustrates just how supportive and comforting having a pet can be!

I'm so grateful that I discovered this series in a year as bleak as this. It makes me smile the entire time I read it, and the new releases are giving me something to look forward to!
