I found this book repetitive and boring. No real story line. Just awkward scenes strung together. No real grasp of the characters and way too much random misogyny. DNF.

Loved, loved , loved this book, as well as this series. I thought this author had thought of everything, but she still surprises and excites. I loved Mig and Annie. The usual drama and life threatening situations were present, but it is written in a way that each story is unique in its own way. A supreme talent this author is, and I just cannot get enough.

Really didn't like the premise. I just don't see that happening... he didn't come across as the kind of man who would do that... more likely that he would sequester her in some sort of safe house for the duration and then carry on with his life. Or, have her charged and go for full custody. Sighs.
13/07/21 Garghh. I think I like this even less than I did before. So why re-read it? Um... well, there is something about LLV's voice that draws me in... and I hadn't read this one in while, so I wanted to see if I had been too judge-y about it. I hadn't.
Still feel the same about. I mean, that is just so so so very wrong. But then the way that he dealt with it? Even in this fictional world where they reside? It wouldn't have been accepted. Not at all. I didn't 'get' their inta-whatever. I really feel like I didn't really know either Mig or Annie. At all. And then the ending? Ridiculous.
