The peeks at these characters in Eliza’s story and even the prequel did not do this first in an amazing new series justice.

The Wilder’s are amazing. Eli & Alexis are

I'm 1.5 books into the Wilder Brothers series and I'm already in love! Loved getting to know Eli and his siblings. The way Eli & Alexis met was not under the most ideal circumstances. And from the way things looked, it didn't look like their paths would cross again. I'm so glad that everything is not as it first appears. Really enjoyed getting to know Eli & Alexis. Emma Wilder & Jacob Morgan did an amazing job narrating! I absolutely can't wait for book 2 in the Wilder series.

One Way Back to Me is the first book in The Wilder Brothers series. We first met the brothers in Inked Obsession, Eliza and Beckett, from the Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins series. I loved the brothers when we met them in this book so I was very excited to see them all get their own series! In the first of the series we have Eli and Alexis story. Eli and Alexis first met two years earlier at a wedding when they shared a dance and instant connection, but moments later Alexis boyfriend gave her a public proposal. It's two years later and the the Wilder brothers have opened up their resort and are in desperate need of a wedding planner and in comes Alexis for an interview.

Eli and Alexis story was fun to read, I loved watching them connect and build on that connection. Alexis has been through a difficult time in the two years since she had last seen Eli so is slow to jump into anything, and complicating matters is her toxic ex making an appearance into her life. The only confusing part at first was that all the brothers have names that start with E which at first made it slightly hard to keep track of who was who. This story had a lot going on, setting up the future books and I can't wait to read them all.

One Way Back to Me is the first book in The Wilder Brothers and it started the series off with fireworks. It was a steamy romance with six ex-military men who are trying to get their business, Wilder resort, to be the place for weddings. This was the eldest brother Eli’s story who had the idea of the brothers buying and running the resort together. Alexis was a wedding planner and after her marriage fell apart, she needed a job. The connection Alexis and Eli had when they first met was still just as strong. They tried to keep it professional but slowly fell for each other.
I loved the cute meeting between Alexis and Eli. Neither of them wanted to be in the spotlight but ended up there anyway. The spark was between them, to begin with, and kept growing. I loved meeting the Wilder brothers and cannot wait for the next book which is Evan’s story. This was a fantastic book to start the series and I strongly recommend it if you like large family, ex-military, or second chance romance.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Talk about chemistry and attraction making not one but two people stop in their tracks. A simple dance was all Eli needed to know that this beautiful stranger was the one for him. Life cut him hard with that his stranger was proposed to only minutes later.

Fast forward two years and things have changed a bit. Eli and his brothers are holding down their Resort. A band of military brothers running a resort may seem comical to some but The way I read it it was like therapy with alpha therapy to them. All recently leaving their respective services for one reason or another each one is on a very different path and finding his own way. Eli is constantly worrying as to whether he talked to his brothers into making the right choice for their futures. Finding themselves in need of a wedding planner for their resort, a blast from the past walks into Eli’s life, rekindling that spark all over again.

Alexis has been burned. Newly divorced and having her life taken from under her she is starting over. Trying to re-establish her name and reputation as a wedding planner, A friend sent her to a new resort looking for someone with her talent.
Walking into her interview at Wilder resort she lays her eyes on someone she didn’t think she’d say again. That spark of passion and chemistry once again ignites feelings all within her. Alexis sees this as a new beginning as long as the pass stays in the past.

I really enjoyed the introduction to the Wilder Brothers in One Way Back to Me. Eli and Alexis complement each other so well. They both had some baggage but I loved how they were able to work through their issues and come together as one. Eli is a workaholic but yet loyal and dedicated. Alexis is extremely sweet and amazingly talented. The two of them together are a force to be reckoned with. We meet each of the five brothers and learn that they have issues as well. With each of them just getting out of the service they are in a very different place mentally. Their actions prove that they are devoted and loyal to their family however each is holding something to themselves that we will have to wait and see unfold in future books. Carrie Ann Ryan gives us another group of brothers to get all swoony over.

A tale that will have you sweating, smiling, and sighing…

I just love when a big tough ex soldier finds his HEA, even if it takes a while. When Eli and Alexis meet they have an instant connection, but unlike the usual tale their timing is all wrong and they have to wait. This character driven falling in love story bombards you with feels. Eli as the oldest sibling is a protective alpha towards all those he cares for. Alexis is smart, independent, and used to standing on her own two feet, especially after her past struggles. Lots of angst in this story and outside interference but this sweet sexy read about everyday people making a new life will bring a smile to your heart.

The Wilder brothers are starting over after leaving the military and their choice of running a resort and winery may seem a bit odd but it does allow each of them to work with their strengths while they work as a team. Watching Eli fall in love with Alexis, the wedding planner, is really sweet. They both try their hardest to ignore their growing attraction but the heart wants what the heart wants. Throw in an ex who doesn't know how to let go and trouble brews. The Wilder brothers is going to be a great series I can't wait to see each brother loose his heart.

New series by Carrie Ann Ryan The Wilder Brothers Series.
Eli and all his brothers have worked in the military of some form or another of all risked their lives and come out of it but there lost and not sure what to do with themselves. Eli has an idea that he’s going to buy a ranch winery and turn it into a holiday wedding venue with all his brothers.
So the prologue in book 0.5 is where you meet Eli and Alexis at a wedding that she’s organised they have a moment and that’s when he finds out that her boyfriend is there any proposes to her but the story really start in this book when Alexis take a job at the Wilder Ranch and a wedding coordinator. This book actually is Eli and Alexis story and how they meet and get together properly.
I absolutely love this book I love the way it flows, I absolutely love that all the brothers are living together on the ranch and each have their own part to play it just flows really well and I’m from a big family so I really enjoy that kind of feel to a book.
Really enjoyed everything about it and can’t wait for more especially as the narrators did a beautiful job making this book shine as always Carrie Ann Ryan always picks the best narrators.

We got a peek at this couple in their prequel book, but that book didn't give us more than a tease of their story. Alexis and Eli have great chemistry that was evident from their first meeting. There were circumstances that kept them from exploring their initial chemistry, but they got a second chance later on in their lives. This book kicks off a new series and started it off great. I can't wait to see the rest of Eli's brother's fall and I'm already eagerly anticipating the next Wilder brother book.

Emma Wilder has narrated many of Carrie Ann Ryan's books and there is a reason for that. She is a great narrator. She is joined with a strong male counterpart to narrate a fantastic story.
