I knew this would be 5 stars, I just KNEW it! I'd be the first to criticize a romance novel for being 500 pages, but there's not a single page too many in this one. I loved the instant attraction, slowburn romance, and we got to spend a good amount of time with them as an established couple as well. I love that there's no third-act breakup, but instead something happens that they're trying to get through together. I also love that the movie they're making, that takes up a large part of the story, is actually so well thoughtout and so incredibly interesting.

The perfect book for such a time a this

Where do I start? The seemingly effortless way that the main character, Neevah’s life sometimes mirrored the character she was playing, Dessi? The beauty and brilliance of Kennedy’s writing? The warm, sensual and intense love between Neevah and the very hot, very broody Canon?
Every time Kennedy writes another book it becomes my favorite. In a romance world where so many stories and characters feel the same, this one is fresh and real. Authentic, deep, inspiring and sooo satisfyingly romantic, I can’t recommend Reel enough.
