LOVED the first part of the book. I thought for sure that I would rate this closer to five stars. The story got quite a bit darker for most of the rest of it. Jason/Jackson was starting to piss me off!

As a romcom and music lover, this was my favorite of the series.
I would say you definitely can read this as a standalone and not miss out by skipping The Friend Zone and Life’s Too Short.
