Started off a bit slow and I didn’t get into it as quickly as some of Abby Jimenez’s other books, but after the halfway mark, couldn’t put it down.
Just a fairly easy, feel good read & a reminder to not lose yourself in your in betweens in life.

Brain melting. I’m pretty sure I was making the cringe face for most of this book.

I’ve been waiting to read Sloan’s story for a bit after finishing The Friend Zone. I felt really connected to Sloan — even though she was technically a side character - and it was a very emotional ending for her! I absolutely loved this story for her. While it was truly an emotional roller coaster and it’s not all smooth sailing… you do get what the title promises and it feels perfect for Sloan!! Make sure to read The Friend Zone first!!!

4.5 stars • Audiobook • I was so apprehensive going into this book after the heartbreak of book 1 of this series, but this book didn’t disappoint!
It was a roller coaster of emotions with laugh out loud moments followed by heart wrenching scenes, all with a cute dog and an amazing found family.
