I really enjoyed this book! I did feel like it could get repetitive, and sometimes fell flat, but I think the meaning behind it is very impactful. I finished the book in one day and left it feeling good and hopeful. There is an air of selfishness around the entire story, with Nora and her life choices. The philosophical basis was meaningful but not too overbearing. The beginning was rough, but I’m glad I stuck with it. I found myself identifying with Nora, in a sense, regarding regrets and “what if’s”. Along with the feeling of being stuck and guilty. Her self destructive behavior and “life fright.” However, reading the process it took for Nora to find herself was comforting in a way. We are nothing but endless potential.

I really enjoyed this book. It was emotional and tense at times. It was nice to see the main character develop and come to terms with how to move on and just live. I do get teary eyed at times.

I thought it was fine. It felt somewhat heavy-handed to me. I feel like it could’ve been deep, but it was very surface-level. It almost felt like reading a fiction self help book? Idk. Not as impactful for me as some say it was for them, but not a total waste of time.

I think I have never read anything like this. I have never found so much inspiration and hope from a sad book. Could not recommend it more.
