LB nails another one! These 2 characters are just perfect for each other! Broken Rachael and Carter (Axel's brother) have been besties for 15 years and decide, (due to many circumstances) to "fake date" for five dates... And obviously, we may or may not expect what is to come.

Either way, I fricken love me some LB, and when I need a good light-hearted read, I know she is a great author to go to. A football star, and recent divorcee, and friends to lovers? Hell yes, I'm in!

This friends to lovers romance has a cute, quirky factor that made it a fun, feel good read.
Rachel and Carter are the kind of friends who finish each other’s sentences and share the same humor. They click like puzzle pieces.
I loved their banter, their sarcasm and their entertaining interactions so much.
There’s never a dull moment. Feelings start to change after an accidental FaceTime answer, attraction starts to become impossible to ignore. There are a few accidental incidents that bring things to a hot boiling point for both friends. It’s very entertaining and extremely hot.
When things turn to friends with benefits (with an end date) it gets really spicy hot. Their chemistry is scorching and their sexual experimentation’s are a naughty dream.
Carter is a sweet, cinnamon roll type, but in the bedroom, kitchen, living room…. He’s a take charge man with a deliciously filthy mouth.
Obviously feelings were bound to get involved, they are lifelong best friends all.
Both characters are really likable, their friendship is #goals. I loved them together. They are both slightly quirky and they appreciate it in each other.
It’s an extremely low drama, low angst romance that made me laugh, smile and feel like decent people are out there and sometimes they get their happily ever after.

STOPP. THIS BOOK!!!

This book was honestly so cute and Rachel and carter are absolutely amazing. It’s a friends to lovers story and also has fake dating.

They are both recovering from a toxic relationship and begin to see each other differently. From beginning to end I was hooked.
