There’s just something about a seasonal picture book with folklore/fables and a magical & whimsical illustrator that just gets the party going for me

A diverse and enchanting collection of winter stories from all over the world which are set around christmas, New Year's Eve, the winter season and even seasons in general. Themes around friendship, companionship, family, nature, joy and life are all represented in the collection.

There is probably at least one story in there that you have never heard of before. I only ever read The Nutcracker and The Snow Queen prior to this collection, and while those two tales are still one of my favourites, I did discover some new great stories as well.

The beautiful illustrations on every single page also help bring the narratives come to life.

A few of these tales are meant for a very young audience which is why I could not enjoy them as much, but they were cute nonetheless.

A very magical book with some amazing stories for the young and the old. The illustrations beautiful and adding magic to the stories. Some stories are a bit weird though, but a lot made me cry and smile too.

This book is maybe marked for children but adults also can enjoy beautiful stories and really amazing illustrations. One of the most beautiful books I've seen. It put me in Christmas mood :D
