I’m new to the genre, so I found it interesting. The writing is good, but the storyline is a little like good fan fiction. Lots of minor plot holes. Ayla is always a victim, and thinks things like “no one has stood up for me like that in years” when her best friend stood up for her just like that in the first ten pages. I’ll definitely read the next one because I’m interested in this world and the characters.

I was very happy that this went where I thought it was going. The world-building is really great. I love how it's linked with the Zodiac signs. I really liked how Ayla went from just wanting scraps willingly given to demanding her due. I enjoyed watching her come into her own. The Sun Witches are just evil. I hated what they did to Ayla during the Convergence that now has her trapped. I loved to see her interact and blossom into her own within Kaden's pack. Seeing Kaden and Ayla dance around each other was good and sad. Seeing Ayla learn things about being a wolf that should have been taught to her made me happy, but also saddened me by how much was lost. I'm excited to see what happens next. I, also, wish that we had gotten Kaden's POV throughout the book.
