I bet the second will be even better
So this was good, I enjoyed it enough to read the entire thing. I just have a little gripe with authors making a lot of the drama the main character having attitude or sass or just being disagreeable. That said Ayla wasn’t as bad as most and I still managed to like her and root for her. I have complaints and there’s a few holes but if you like the fated mate/rejected mate werewolf thing I think you would enjoy this book. Just one

To tell you the truth I was about to stop reading this book after the first couple of chapters and boy I was glad I didn't. The rejected mate bit and that she was beaten by her pack and part of her family was expected in a shifter story. But what I wasn't expecting is the development of the story, the intrigue, the political plotting and the spice!!! Once got into it I couldn't put it down. The cliffhanger had me screaming, then I remembered that the next book of the series was out! YEAH!!! Hopefully she will stop being in a cell or getting beaten.

Such a delicious slow burn! This story is so good! It has a rejected mate, a second chance, vengeance, and so much chemistry and tension! I love Ayla! I feel like she has been gravely underestimated and can't wait to see her grow!
