Strangers in my Bed was an extremely intense book, at times it was psychologically cringe worthy, at other times subtly questionable, but always with great impact to the reader.

Awful. Author should have financial compensation for advertising de chante champagne, if that’s even a real brand since it’s mentioned no less than 100 times through out the book. I also hesitate to classify this as spicy or erotic as most of the spicy scenes are coercive and of dubious consent at best.

Before you even think about grabbing this, CHECK TRIGGERS AND CONTENT WARNINGS. This book covers quite a few things that may disturb quite a few people.

I was so happy Cass got her HEA with Ger. He truly understands what she went through and is there to help her process and heal. I really hope Jade will continue this into another book after the ending she gave us and to let us peek into Cass and Ger in the future.

Strangers in My Bed is one of those books you'll either love or hate. It's not a conventional romance by any stretch of the imagination, and it's certainly not the story you think you're getting in the first half of the book. Thank God! Lol This is a story that you have to read all the way through to fully understand and appreciate.
If you know me, you know I'm always looking for something different. This is definitely that! It's unique in the way it's told, and the author is brave for writing it in this way. She had to know it wouldn't work for a lot of people, but she took the risk. I admire her for that.

I'm not a person that takes the opinions of others as gospel, and if something is interesting and/or provocative enough to warrant extremely different opinions, I want to read it for myself to see which side I fall on. I encourage everyone to do the same regarding this book and any other book by an author that dares to color outside of the lines.

It was a good book and it kept me interested in knowing what was going to happen…so I do have to give 4 stars for that.

There is not a lot I can say without revealing spoilers. If you have triggers you will want to read the spoiler posts though or at least find out what the triggers are.

Wow, what a gripping read. Jade west is a brilliant author whose writing skills play fantastic mind games on the reader.
This is quite a long book and I felt some of it could have been condensed slightly and also felt that too large a proportion of the book was dedicated to the dark story and the happy ending was then skimmed over. That's why I've only given 4 stars
Cass is a wonderful woman who is blinded by her idealistic view of love and romance. Partly due to her career in the wedding industry. It's this naivety that makes her the perfect target for Anthony. Desperate for love she ignores the blatant red flags in the relationship
What follows is some very detailed coercion, physical and emotional abuse as well as exploitation and some graphic dub-con sex scenes. All while isolating Cass and making her believe she wants this.
It's a hard read but worth it. Check triggers first!
