This was a cute little add on. The gifts Alex and Kaiden got each other are worth reading it, they're so adorable. (Although I don't know how you guys are going to manage a relationship if you start out with THAT. You can't top that next year.)
I wouldn't read Part 2. It's from another character's perspective and it's sequel bait for a story that shouldn't happen. Honestly I can't imagine it would be where anyone would want to see this universe continue, but she also said at the end she wasn't sure she would write it, so 🤷♀️.
I enjoyed this, it was cute and I liked the little bit of characters lives getting back to normal. Worth the quick read.
I have a (tagged) spoiler review on part 2 if you want to appease the curiosity, but I really would recommend stopping with just part one.

I finished it! I had read half of it, then got on with my homework (I was procrastinating again), and I finally finished it. I see what people mean about the cliff hanger at the end. I really hope there's going to be another book. This book was so cute and I laughed every time Alex's parents mention Kaiden and Alex being together. I absolutely loved this book and recommend it to anyone who's read the series. Looking forward to the next book.

That cliffhanger!!! I want to know who Alex saw! Despite that I was glad to see what Alex and the others were up too after the events of Vardaesia as I felt that Vardaesia quite suddenly.
