i listened to 88% of this and resumed listening after a week off and couldn’t make it 2 minutes before turning it off and starting a John Green book. yeah not a fan

HONESTLY she did not have me in the first half and i struggled to get past the 150 page mark where usually things pick up… i enjoyed the second half because it was a rollercoaster.. i wasn’t expecting any of that!! sadly an insufficient ending for me but also i would be open to read the sequels because i enjoyed all the characters! this is also funny since i thought there were too many supporting characters and it took me a while to remember who was who. i was also surprised because i thought it was going to be more focused on the sports but it wasn’t which i wish it was.
to conclude, definitely not what i was expecting and so im pleasantly surprised but also disappointed! no rating bc i wouldn’t even know how to.
update after reading some reviews: i need to put the disclaimer that you do need to surrender to this book a little to be able to enjoy it since it doesn’t really make too much sense and i can see why most people dnf-ed it

I wasn't sure what to expect because of the hype. I listened to it on audio and the narration was good in dual pov. It was a decent romance book, especially the secondary characters were very entertaining. I do think the book was a bit too long and personally don't agree with some of the decisions.
