This was such a tight, relatable slice-of-life book, even though I couldn't personally relate to most of the characters. I still felt invested in their lives and wanted to know more.
Maybe 3.5 I enjoyed the stories from all the different character views. Lots of self reflection. A quick read. I wasn’t thrilled with the neat reconciliations in the end.

This book won't win any Pulitzers or anything, but I enjoyed the family dynamics and small town story of it. It reminded me of watching The Family Stone or other dramas in that vein, and I adored every minute of it. It was funny and delightful.
I really did not like this book, and not entirely sure why. Could not get into it.
Struggled to not DNF. There's too much going on, and none of it is particularly interesting.
