Ali Hazelwood is my everything and I will always love her for writing realistic love stories. I have a love hate relationship with novellas, but this novella and the other two in the series are PERFECT. The banter, the spice, the cluelessness—everything made this enjoyable. I would have read this as a full length novel a million times over.
Some how every man she writes makes me believe in love again.

Review of Under One Roof by Ali Hazelwood
This summer is my summer of Ali Hazelwood. In my quest to read her catalogue, I discovered Under One Roof.
Mara is an environmental engineer just finishing school and starting her first job in DC. Her mentor recently left her (half) a house in her will, ironically in walking distance of her new job. Liam bought all but half of his aunt's house, and when she expired, he found himself with an unwanted roommate in the form of a beautiful scientist. Unfortunately, their rivalry and inability to see each other beyond their anger leaves the two at ends. Mara refuses to sell her half to Liam and Liam refuses to agree to any of Mara's demands, leaving them going toe-to-toe...until they start seeing the world from the others' point of view. When the anger and resentment subside, will the attraction win?
This is an enemies-to-lovers, slow burn, women in STEM novella worthy of the few hours it might take to read. In true Hazelwood fashion, this hit all the marks for me!
