3.5
so cute
funny

Basically can't get enough of Ali Hazelwood, my girl knows how to write pining men and I'm so here for it. This one is a solid 3.5 stars for me, didn't really hold up to others, but still very enjoyable and short.

How adorable!

This was such a cute read. It’s an ennemies to roommates to friends to lovers!!! Basically all the tropes together.
Liam and Mara were sweet together. I loved Liam’s character but I found Mara a little on the annoying side. I felt like she wasn’t very self-aware. Regardless of that, I still enjoyed the story.
I loved how it took them a hot minute to realize that aunt Helena had set them up.

Overall, it was such a short and sweet read✨

Okay I already owned the book of three and wanted to see if Hazelwood did better with fewer pages. It is essentially the first ~100-150 pages of a 350 page book rather than expedited stories. Pass.

Also, mf c*ms on contact.

It felt like a belated April Fools' prank.

I’ve been in a reading slump this year and this book made me hooked since prologue! Very light story yet I still feel the tension (& butterflies) between those two. Quite short pages compared to The Love Hypothesis but definitely not rushing into the end.

Literally can’t stop smiling & screaming all night while reading this book

(2 ⭐️) very boring and cringy, and it feels like all Ali hazelwood characters are the same but in different fonts
