This was cute and short. Novellas are a nice lil break in between other bigger reads. This is the first of AHs books ive read that doesnt have a 3rd act breakup so thats also appreciated, although being so short there really isnt room for it… A cute forced proximity, hate to love. The ending could of maybe had a longer epilogue but it was fine as is. I liked how their friend was setting them up from beyond the grave, that was a nice little touch, even if the FMC didnt really catch onto that…

🌶️ 2/5 The spice was subtle, but hot. It didnt really explain why the MMC didnt “like” sex (normally) - maybe a little more background on that would of been nice.

Even though this is a novella, it still spans across enough time for the couple to make sense. I really loved seeing how they were more comfortable with each other as each chapter went by. 4 stars!!!

Read in a day with toe curling slow burn - I LOVE ALI because she writes the best nerds and authentically quirky characters that never fail to make me laugh out loud. This duo was no different!
