This romantic novellas kinda spead run romances in the best way possible cutting the 3rd act breakup down and just giving us something sexy if very surface level that being said I wouldn't mind knowing more about the characters in a bigger book

This one starts with the ending, so there isn’t any shock how things end up. Mara, an environmental scientist, was extremely close to her professor. So close, that when her professor dies, she willed a home to Mara. The problem? The professor only owned half the home—the other 50% is owned by her nephew, Liam. Both Liam and Mara want to live in the house, so they clash as forced roommates.
This was a cute story, but it lacks a lot of depth compared to The Love Hypothesis. As a novella, that sort of makes sense. But this could’ve easily been stretched to an actual novel. It left me wanting more after seeing what Ali Hazelwood is capable of. I have a feeling I’m going to feel this way about all of her novellas. But will I still be reading them? Yes

I was looking for a short and cute romance with a little spice and this was the perfect book for the job. I love the way Ali writes tension and boy was there tension. 3.25 stars
